How to do sports-luxe like a Boss.

Boss showed its Autumn/Winter 2018 collection in New York yesterday and the brand’s sporty tailoring was second to none.

Yesterday, in an uptown New York loft, Boss presented its Autumn/Winter 2018 collection with an afternoon runway show. Armie Hammer was the guest of honour and the clothes on the catwalk looked like just the kind of stuff you’d expect the Call Me By Your Name star to want to wear.

Chief brand officer Ingo Wilts decided that he wanted to combine Boss’ tailoring heritage with a low-key New York-inspired aesthetic for the collection, and the result was a series of sports-inspired suits, coats and trousers that looked as comfortable as they did smart (which, given Hammer’s penchant for dressing up in tracksuits - see his Instagram account for more - we expect to see him in soon).
